My Youtube Channel - Doshobhuja Vlog







Ok, I already have one travel channel named  The Traveller we are . But then why did I start a new one? Was I eager for earning from Youtube? Well its both 'YES' and 'NO'.

Its 'YES' because, nowadays a lot of people are getting a steady income from youtube which they are channelising to start some other venture. So as long as YT does not change its policy of distributing its revenue with creators, I think its a pretty cool idea!

Then why 'NO'?
Well its 'NO' because if I wanted to have a second channel and wanted to earn from there, I would have started it long back. Infact once I thought but gave up on the thought because of time constraint. But now because of this lockdown, I was intact getting crazy day by day staying at home. I wanted to reach out to friends and also make new friends. But then friends also have priorities. They have kids, office, home, parents, studies....and a host lot of other activities. So it would be selfish on my part if I expect that my friends to be available instantly for every call or chat.

Hence I thought of starting my personal blogging channel. I will be documenting my life particularly focussing on my lifestyle and  my cooking. Maybe sometimes I will put a few beauty blogs as well like when I prepare my own body exfoliating scrubber or my soap nut shampoo. I can share those with my friends and family so that they can watch in their spare time. Also in the process I hope to make some more new friends.

If you are an art aficionado, then you must visit Bengal. And while in Bengal if you are a saree aficionado you must visit Shantipur. The tant sarees of Shantipur have made the place a prominent hotspot on the handloom map of India.  After the partition of India, many weavers came from Dhaka of Bangladesh and started to reside here in Phulia region, which is a Panchayat area of Santipur. Since ancient times, Shantipur and the surrounding region has been famous for handloom saris (saree). The handloom weaving style unique to this region are famously known as Santipuri Sari (tant).
